Change is probable, healing is possible & you are not alone.

Welcome!

My name is Cheyenne Skye.

I am an alternative-lifestyle-affirming clinical psychotherapist, who strongly believes in the power of collaboration, affirmation, and supportive exploration, to help the people I work with achieve their goals.

My work is not limited to, but includes people and communities associated with non-monogamy/polyamory, BDSM/kink/fetish, LGBTQ/TGNC, & sex work.

My goal is to help you explore, understand, integrate, and feel safe as you discover your most authentic self.

Once we learn to understand the driving processes behind our thoughts, behaviors, and patterns, we are better able to envision a path that works for us.

Together, we can co-create a space that facilitates the understanding of self, as well as the development of skills to be better prepared to cope with life's obstacles, challenges, and changes.

I look forward to working with you!

It is never too late to learn. It is never too late to start healing.

Who I work with

While my professional expertise and lived experience pertains to alternative communities associated with non-monogamy/polyamory, kink/BDSM, LGBTQIA+, and sex work, I also work with those addressing issues related to the following,

Trauma, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodivergence, codependency, attachment, growth/fixed mindset, gender & sexual identity, divorce/separation, relational challenges (affair resolution, sexual difficulties, life trajectory changes, etc).

My approach

I know first hand how challenging it can be to find a therapist who feels like the right fit. Here is a bit of information about me, to help inform your decision.

  • My therapeutic style is client centered and fluid due to my firm belief that therapy is not a one size fits all process.

  • I use an integrative, holistic approach that combines different evidence based modalities. I tend to pull from psychoanalysis, attachment theory, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

  • I am oftentimes referred to as a "tough love therapist" by my clients due to my direct, yet nurturing approach.

  • While boundaries are crucial in maintaining a healthy relationship between clinician and client, I do not prescribe to traditional power dynamics associated with clinical psychotherapy. While I am knowledgeable in areas associated with psychotherapy and the communities I serve, you are the expert of your own experience, and I believe you have just as much, if not more, to contribute.

  • I oftentimes offer “homework” to encourage accountability and self-reflection outside of our therapy time.
